Movie She like..

Tom Ford joins TCM host Robert Osborne as this month's guest programmer. His first film choice from the TCM vaults is Dinner at Eight (1933), which he finds "quite modern" in the way in which it deals with "sensitive situations—getting older, reversal of fortune, adultery." He sees Now, Voyager (1942) as "one of the first makeover films," with a "great" Bette Davis performance. The Fountainhead (1949) speaks to his architectural training and his belief that the world can be "a better place through design," while The Last Picture Show (1971) appeals to his Texas roots with its "slice-of-life" approach and "really truthful characters."
